Our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, gives us this statement in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 24): "He to whom 'the arm of the Lord' is revealed will believe our report, and rise into newness of life with regeneration." It is because I did rise into this newness of life that I can, with great joy, give this testimony.

Before I took up the study of Christian Science, my life was one great round of hospitals, surgeons, and physicians. After a third operation in six years, I decided to see why Christian Scientists were so healthy, so happy, and so prosperous, as that was my observation of the few Scientists with whom I had come in contact.

I went to one who lovingly showed me how to study the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly; and by the daily study of these Lessons I am learning more of my at-one-ment with God; that I am made in His image and likeness, and thereby reflect all good. Whereas I was cautioned not to stand too much on my feet, I now have no difficulty in that regard. I have never felt better.
