In a recent column the following in connection with the subject of worry is stated:

"Among Christians, resignation to the will of God keeps some from worrying. Christian Science, telling you that what you are worrying about is not real, frees you from worry, if you believe in Christian Science. But the sure remedy for worry is hard work and then death. We are put here to worry, and worry brings improvement. Worry, another word for dissatisfaction, has given us everything we have. Let us avoid it individually and be thankful for it collectively."

That the columnist departs from the customary usage of the word "worry" when he defines it as dissatisfaction would tend to mislead or confuse some of his readers. It certainly is more reasonable to consider progress as a result of intelligent obedience to the laws of God, good. In the New Testament, James tells us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights."
