Many good things have come to me through Christian Science for which I have reason to be thankful. I am very grateful for my healing, which occurred over two years ago, and which seemed very wonderful to me, but even more wonderful is the spiritual light which I have gained through the study of the Bible in connection with Science and Health. "Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand." I am very grateful for the understanding that evil is unreal and impersonal. Often, when shadows seem to gather, our Leader's assurance that evil "is neither person, place, nor thing"(Science and Health, p. 71), has enabled me to separate evil from personality, and thus restored harmony.

To Mrs. Eddy, and to all who have assisted me on the road from sense to Soul, I render heartfelt thanks; and while I am still young in Science, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of this truth that makes us free.
