In September, 1909, our little girl, four years old, was taken ill. We called a Christian Science practitioner, and after a couple of days it was decided to call in a physician to diagnose the case. He pronounced it one of the epidemic fevers, and as the conditions were very serious we sent for a Christian Science nurse. In five days the child was up, and at the dinner–table, and in two weeks she was entirely well. This is only one of the many proofs we have had of the healing power of divine Mind through the understanding of Christian Science, as taught by Mrs. Eddy in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," for which we are very thankful.
