Some two years ago, while going upstairs, I slipped and injured my knee. Swelling appeared at once, and after a couple of days I could hardly move my leg; but having heard of Christian Science shortly before, I applied for help by letter, with the result that after the second treatment the swelling disappeared, and within five days no vestige of the trouble was left. Shortly after this our eleven-year-old boy had a severe attack of fever, and the physician who was called in pronounced it an affection of the lungs. We did not, however, give the child any medicine, but wrote to a Christian Science practitioner to take up treatment, and the power of Truth soon became manifest. When the physician examined the child the next morning, he was very much surprised to find that the fever had completely gone, and four days later the boy was entirely well.

We are so glad to have found the truth which enables us to look above all seeming difficulties and see the light in God's light, and we are unspeakably grateful for the blessings which we have received through Christian Science. Next to God, we are thankful to the beloved Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, through whom the truth has again been revealed to us.
