I desire to tell a little of what Christian Science has done for me. I had been a sufferer all my life until nine years ago. When I came here I had the pleasure of meeting a Christian Science lady the same day, and she invited me to attend the church services. I accepted, and was greatly increased. I also asked for help, though I had tried several physicians of good reputation but they said my case was hopeless.

My first healing was of five abnormal growths. At the time of healing my weight had increased greatly above normal, but I was healed of all that and a head trouble from which I had suffered for four years. There was a discharge out of top of my head all the time. I was taken down with acute lung trouble, but was healed of it in a few treatments. A few months later, a horse ran away and threw me out of the carriage, seriously injuring my leg. I was thirteen miles from home, but I at once sent to the practitioner for help. At nine o'clock that night, when the practitioner treated me, the bone united and never moved out of place any more. The second day after, I felt as if my whole body had been injured; inflammation set in; but in one week my ills were all overcome, so that I was able to do my work.

Words cannot express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me. I am thankful that I can help others through the truth that has been revealed to me through the teachings of our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
