Over eight years ago I was instantly healed of chronic stomach trouble through Christian Science treatment. I was directed to a practitioner, who told me that God gave man dominion over all the earth, and that I had only to turn to the first chapter of Genesis to find that statement. My answer was that I had known that chapter for a long time, but had never thought to apply it in this way. At dinner that day I had the first expression of freedom for many months. I had no more fear of what I ate, or what I drank. I bought a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, but was not able to read much for ten days, as I was visiting and did not wish to mention a subject that seemed to be misunderstood, when I did not understand it myself. On returning home, however, I began in earnest to study this book, which has wrought such wonders in my consciousness. The truth seemed so natural, and I wondered why I had not seen it before.

I am indeed grateful for the daily unfoldment of the truth through the study of the Bible and our text-book. It has met my every need, and I am thankful to know even in a small degree that God is the only cause and creator, and that He makes my path straight.
