My heart overflows with gratitude to God for the blessing that has come to us in Christian Science. Eight years ago I did not know what it was to have good health; rarely a day passed without my having to take medicine, and often no relief came, or at best it was only temporary. There seemed to be no relief for me, and I became weary and despondent. A kind friend then told me of Christian Science; and I finally concluded to try it, with the result that a bowel disorder disappeared with the first treatment. I had been told that this was, in my case, incurable owing to an injury in childbirth. I was also healed of heart trouble, and distressing headaches for which there was no relief in material medica, besides stomach, kidney, and bladder trouble, all of which disappeared through Christian Science treatment. The complete healing took about one year, but the peace, the spiritual uplifting that came with it, cannot be described in words.

We have had many beautiful demonstrations of Truth's power since then,—over throat and lung diseases, hay-fever, etc.; and in every case the attacks were met very quickly. Words are inadequate to express our thankfulness for this beautiful truth that heals. I want my life to attest my gratitude to God, also to Mrs. Eddy.
