AMONG THE CHURCHES

Dedicatory services of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Bryson and Arlington, were held Sunday [June 11]. The day's program consisted of two services, the first being in the morning at the usual hour, half past ten o'clock, and the second at three in the afternoon. The only variation from the regular Sunday services was the reading of the history of the growth and development of the local organization, and a letter written by the Founder of the Church of Christ, Scientist, Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy, to the church of Lawrence, Mass., at the time the church in that city was dedicated.

The building is a brick structure, capable of seating about five hundred people. The architecture is of the colonial style. The interior finishings are in oak with a dull finish. The pews are fitted with green plush cushions. The basement of the building has been arranged for Sunday school purposes, and also includes two rooms in which is a library and general reading room.—Vindicator.
