It is now more than four years since I sought and found help in Christian Science. I was healed in one treatment of a bowel difficulty of fifteen years' standing. Since that time I have taken no medicine and have had no return of the complaint. Although my progress has not been all that I desired, the following demonstration proves to me that I have some understanding of Christian Science. One night after retiring. I was suddenly taken very ill. I was awake the greater part of the night and constantly declared the truth of being, that man is God's child, and that God's child cannot be ill. About four o'clock I lost consciousness, and two hours later I awakened perfectly healed. I immediately arose, dressed myself, and performed my household duties as usual. I have had other demonstrations, all of which are proofs to me of the power of Truth.

I am trying to gain a better understanding of Christian Science, and am indeed grateful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy for this healing truth.
