About four years ago some disagreeable growths began to make their appearance on my hands, until both of them were almost covered, some of these excrescences being very large. I was ashamed to let any one look at my hands, and one day my mother, who is a Christian Scientist, said that we must try to get rid of these warts, for God never made them, and matter had no power to produce anything. She told me not to count them, but to realize every time I looked at my hands that discordant conditions did not belong to me. My mother and I together declared the truth, and the result was wonderful. Every trace of the ailment disappeared inside of a few weeks. My hands are smooth and natural again. I have been healed from other ailments under the treatment of Christian Science. For this I am very thankful to God, and grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
