I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science...

I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me and mine, to tell of the wonderful demonstration made in the healing of my mother through Christian Science. My mother, who makes her home with me, and who was not a Scientist, made a visit to another part of the state, and while there she was taken suddenly ill. I received a message from her physician, saying that I must come at once; that she had had a hemorrhage of the brain, with complications, and that she might not be alive by the time I got there. It was impossible for me to go at that time, but my husband and I went to work in Christian Science to the best of our knowledge, and he started at once to go to her. This was on Thursday morning, and he arrived there at six in the evening, finding her quite ill to mortal sense. By nine that same night she was much better and recognized him, Friday night she was able to sit up, and Saturday morning she was able to ride five miles to the station to catch the train for Kansas City, which meant an all-day ride. Truth, however, sustained her, and when she arrived home she was feeling much better, only a little tired from the trip.

For this and many other demonstrations we are indeed thankful that Christian Science has come to our home, and we are also grateful to our beloved Leader, who has led us into the understanding of Truth.
