Christian Science has brought such happiness to me that I feel I must tell the good news to others. After wearing glasses for years, I can now do without them. I was also troubled with an affection of the throat, which a London specialist said I would have all my life, and other ailments, including nervous exhaustion, all of which have been healed in Christian Science. Besides this, on Sept. 17, 1909, during a thunder-storm, I was in my room when the house was struck, and I received a severe blow on my head, which was enveloped in flames. My hair was scorched and my watch stopped, but nothing in the room was disturbed, although every other room in the house was disarranged, the room next to mine being completely wrecked. My parents, who are not Scientists, were ill for days, but I never felt better in my life and was able to attend to them, giving them Christian Science treatment. I am deeply grateful to God for this wonderful truth, and to those who helped me to find it.
