I have good reason to be thankful for Christian Science, which showed me a clear way to God, and this means all to me. When Christian Science was first mentioned to me, I accepted it at once, because I was in great need of it. I suffered very much with headache every week, from an injury to my back, which was very severe, also from catarrh and rheumatism. I was relieved of all these ills after reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.

Before Christian Science was mentioned to me, I had the very best medical advice that could be had, from doctors and specialists; but their treatment failed. When the good news came to me about Christian Science, it took about two weeks to be relieved from all my ailments. How good it is to know that God is ever-present. It has been proven to me many times in our family that God is an ever-present help in time of need. All I am and all I have I owe to this wonderful truth. Through the study of the Bible and Science and Health, I have learned that God is our Life, that in Him is our health and our strength; that "in him we live, and move, and have our being." The physical benefits are, however, the least of the blessings received in Christian Science; they do not compare with the joy, love, and peace that fill our hearts when we learn, at least in part, to have that Mind in us "which was also in Christ Jesus."
