First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Amesbury, has recently purchased a building lot at the corner of Main and Carpenter streets. The unanimity of opinion in the choice of the lot was most happy, and it is all that could be desired in regard to location, size, and shape. The funds were on hand and payment in full was made when the conveyance took place. The members have received from several people not especially interested in Christian Science many kind words of friendly congratulation on this acquisition.
