Within the past year I came into Christian Science. I took it up as a last resort, having given the best physicians a trial for my complaint, which was stomach and liver trouble. They finally said an operation would be necessary in order to save my life. I had never believed in operations, and would not consent to such a thing. Christian Science was brought to me by loving friends, and I accepted it, for I knew that others had been healed by this treatment, and why should not I? Within a week I was able to be up, and to walk around. I gradually grew better, both spiritually and physically, and to-day I am perfectly well and strong, and very grateful for the opportunity of knowing the truth that makes us free.
