It is nearly two years since I was led to try Christian Science treatment for physical ailments. I had for years suffered many things from many physicians. I was healed of nervous headaches, dyspepsia, constipation, and paralysis of the lower bowel. I was also healed of heart trouble, which had been pronounced incurable by the doctors. I had worn glasses for astigmatism for sixteen years, but in less than two months' treatment I laid them aside, and have had no need of them since. I was healed of chronic throat trouble, also pronounced incurable. I had had a sense of growing deafness for some eighteen years, and had tried every known remedy. This trouble has seemingly been slow in yielding to the power of Truth, but before I began Christian Science treatment my hearing was growing worse. The specialist whom I last consulted had given me the discouraging assurance that there was no help for me, and that in time I would be totally deaf. Since taking up the study of this Science, my hearing has greatly improved, and I find myself growing in understanding. I know that divine wisdom has been leading and teaching me for my profit.
I am very grateful for the many helps received in Christian Science. I love the Sentinel and Journal, and I have no words to express my gratitude for what our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, has given to all mankind.
Mrs. A. C. May, Kansas City, Kan.
