To say that I am grateful for Christian Science seems...

To say that I am grateful for Christian Science seems very little. I turned to it about eight years ago, when material remedies had failed. I was suffering from a nervous breakdown in a severe form, and from pernicious anaemia. My healing was slow; but for this I am grateful, for only by gaining, step by step, more of the truth about man as a child of God have I been able to realize, as Mrs. Eddy says in the Preface to "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. vii), that "to those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." I have also been healed of smallpox, pneumonia, severe headaches, and many other ills. Words cannot express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy and to all who have helped me on the way.
