Christian Science was presented to me at a time when physicians had said there was not an organ in my body functioning properly. For six years I had submitted to various treatments and had taken many kinds of medicine, but steadily grew worse. Eagerly I took up the study of Christian Science, hoping I had found the remedy for which I had been longing; and I was not disappointed. Immediately there were signs of improvement.

A little later I sought help from a Christian Science practitioner, and soon realized that I could eat, without suffering, what was set before me. Glasses, which I had worn for eight years, were soon laid off. It is over twenty-two years since these first healings came to me, and I am increasingly grateful for them and for the love and patience shown me. I am unspeakably grateful for having had Christian Science to aid in caring for our children. It has been so comforting to know just what to do when their problems have presented themselves; and more satisfying still when they have been able to help themselves through their own reliance on Truth.

My daily prayer is that I may manifest more of the "fruit of the Spirit," and thus express my thankfulness to God.—(Mrs.) Winifred E. MacBride, Chicago, Illinois.
