I indeed feel grateful for Christian Science
I indeed feel grateful for Christian Science. It is wonderful to know God as available now. Mrs. Eddy, to whom we owe endless gratitude, says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." To learn a little of what this really means is surely to have found the "pearl of great price." We have had many healings in our home, among them chicken pox, measles, and ringworm; and with the beautiful, simple teachings the children receive in Sunday school, they are many times able to apply the truth for themselves and so destroy error.
Christian Science has also been a tremendous help to my mother, who is now in her eighty-fourth year. Within the last four years she has had two serious illnesses. Relying solely on Christian Science treatment, she had speedy recoveries and has enjoyed splendid health since then. She has been able to go away each summer, and has no ill effects from a long day's traveling.
I am very grateful for the love shown by practitioners: it is in itself a wonderful lesson. As words could never fully express my gratitude for all the blessings which have come to me through Christian Science, I hope I may be able to prove it by deeds.
