I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and all it has done for me. For nearly nine years it has met our every need. I am particularly grateful for a healing which seemed wonderful to me, of influenza with complications. At one time I seemed to be passing on, being unable either to speak or move. When in extremity, very clearly the title of an article I had previously read in a Sentinel came to me, "God's promises are kept," and instantly that phase of the error was met; and though the complete healing seemed slow, I am grateful now because of the additional study it required. Later I took out an insurance policy, and so complete was my healing that the doctor, after giving me a rigid examination, said it must have been only a hard cold, as otherwise the lungs could not have been so completely healed in seven months. For this and many other healings and blessings which have come into our lives, I am grateful.
