For some time I have wished to add my testimony of healing and my expression of gratitude to those which are ever forthcoming from grateful hearts all over the world. I have had many healings in Christian Science, but will give account of those which to human sense seem the most remarkable, hoping to give someone else courage.

Over six years ago I was suddenly stricken with a hemorrhage which was so severe that in a very few hours I was too weak to stand on my feet. Christian Science treatment was asked for, but seemed to bring only small relief until it was uncovered that I had been resenting what seemed to me to be very unjust criticism of one very dear to me. This uncovering brought practically instantaneous healing; for just as the practitioner was leaving, a friend, in whose arms I had fainted while being moved an hour before, stepped to the door and on seeing me exclaimed, "Why, you are better!" Love had won. This was in the evening. The following morning I arose and dressed as usual, and that ended all manifestation of the condition. This healing also helped to heal the criticism.

Again, at the birth of our daughter I was greatly helped. The baby was born practically without pain. My husband and I were both very grateful. In bringing up the baby I rejoice each day that my slight understanding enables me to quiet the lying fears which come to tempt a mother. The baby has been healed by Christian Science of eczema, cholera infantum, colds, and also helped in teething.
