Six years ago through reading the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" enough understanding was gained to realize that Christian Science is indeed the truth, and both my husband and myself have since read all the literature and clung to Christian Science, which meets our every need. We think our progress has been due to the fact that we purchased the text-book at the very beginning of our investigation and very early subscribed for all the literature. We paid almost our last money for Science and Health and bought the periodicals at the reading room and news stand till we felt we could subscribe by the year.

We have had many positive proofs that the truth as taught in Christian Science does heal. I was instantaneously healed of a badly injured ankle which had previously been weak, and it has never given any trouble since. For years I had to wear glasses, but the need for them was instantaneously overcome. Though I now use my eyes more than ever, the healing was so complete that there is not even the feeling of weariness in the eyes after long and close use. One treatment given by a practitioner completely restored the hearing in one of my husband's ears, though he had been unable to hear for a long time with that ear. For several winters he could not get about at his work for weeks together, because of severe attacks of rheumatism which kept him in a chair much of the time, but after studying Christian Science he was entirely healed and has had no return of these attacks.

One of our great blessings was the overcoming of financial difficulties. We found ourselves so hopelessly involved that we wondered how we would ever get out of it. When the climax came, the whole matter was settled satisfactorily to all concerned through the application of the truth,—the knowing of the allness of God and therefore His constant protecting care, and the power of divine law demonstrating this fact under all circumstances. Beyond all pleasures and joys I find that the daily study of the Lesson-Sermon and the literature satisfies. Each applications of what is thus gained brings an added blessing.
