Theirs [Christian Scientists'] is a very comforting and comfortable doctrine; optimistic, sanguine, and promises or offers the world ultimate freedom from sin, sickness, death, and in fact all limitations. Hence it would be a good thing to take hold of if one is able to grasp it.

To voice your gratitude is well,—and still
This is so easy that the world scarce heeds it.
