"I WILL GIVE YOU REST"

Long ago , Christ Jesus sent out an invitation to the weary and heavy-laden which means no less today than it did when uttered; indeed, it has a wonderfully broad application to those who have accepted Christian Science. His words were recalled by a poem which appeared in the Monitor some time ago, and which was full of a sweet wisdom, especially the following stanza:—

Not in event, restriction, or release,
Not in scenes near or far;
But in ourselves are restlessness or peace,
Rest where you are!
