After having for about ten years received help through Christian Science, I feel that it is truly time for me to make proper acknowledgment. I became interested through attending a testimony meeting, merely to please a friend, but soon after this I had three weeks' treatment for headaches that had troubled me from childhood, also for defective vision. I learned that Christian Science truly heals, and I at once laid aside the glasses I had worn for six years, but have had headaches occasionally up to within two years. Now I can say that all the fear has vanished, and as the understanding has come I have been able to do my own work, though slowly, owing, as I know, to my own lack of interest, or perhaps too much interest in business. We have two children, eight and eleven years old, who do not know of any other help for sickness or other ills but that which comes through our understanding of Christian Science.

I had formerly no use for religion as I understood it; could not see how spiritual things, so called, were to be discerned by mankind. Now I know that the real man is spiritual. I am indeed more grateful than I can tell for this great truth; grateful to God, and also to our dear Leader for so lovingly and patiently pointing the way.
