I have often experienced the divine leading, and three years ago, when I saw wonderful help coming where according to human judgment no help could be expected, I became distinctly aware of God's omnipotence and omnipresence. I had an intense longing to know more of God, and the firm conviction came to me that God would lead me. About eight weeks later I got a position in a home where after six months I became acquainted with Christian Science, my earnest desire thus being fulfilled. I soon discerned Christian Science to be the truth which Jesus said would make us free, the Comforter who would lead us into all truth.

Last spring error seemed to assail me in various ways. A sense of weakness manifested itself, which increased slowly but steadily and at times was so pronounced that I was afraid of falling suddenly. In June I had a few weeks' vacation, and during that time I studied Science and Health diligently. As I did not seem, however, to get the desired result, I applied to a Christian Science practitioner for absent treatment. About a week after my letter had reached her, the sense of weakness suddenly left me one day, and in another week's time I again enjoyed my work. I have time and again clearly seen and experienced that divine Love does meet our every need, and I am grateful for the rich blessings which have come to me through the study of Science and Health, the reading of the Herold, and the loving help of several Christian Science practitioners. "Divine Love is my shepherd" (Science and Health, p. 578), and I know that Love will continue to lead and sustain me, and help me to express by my life my deep gratitude for the revelation which has come to us through Mrs. Eddy.
