Christian Scientists ask no quarter, but only fair play and unbiased judgment. If their religion does not "deliver the goods" in making men better and in healing the sick, it deserves to go down, and the quicker and better. Such, I am sure, is the attitude of every true Christian Scientist. Its million adherents do no more than to point to the words of Gamaliel: "If this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: but if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."
