I feel it my duty to tell others what Christian Science...

I feel it my duty to tell others what Christian Science has done and is doing for me. Six years ago I became interested in it, and from time to time would read articles on the subject, each time yearning more and more to become acquainted with this truth which makes us free. Now, the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy are the daily helps in our home. This truth has worked out every problem which has come to me and mine. Since childhood I was at intervals a sufferer from rheumatism, the attacks becoming more alarming each time until, thank God, Christian Science brought me perfect freedom. My healing was slow, for which I am now thankful, because the effort required has given me a spiritual quickening which I would not have gained otherwise than by obeying the words of our Master: "Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein." During my struggle for health I sought the aid of a practitioner, with the result that frequent thoughts of discouragement and all other troubles were overcome.

My father has been freed from a so-called incurable malady. These and many other beautiful demonstrations are sufficient to prove to me the omnipresent power of Christ, Truth, as revealed to us in Christian Science. I am indeed thankful to God, also to Mrs. Eddy, for showing us that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494).
