It is stated by a self-appointed critic that Christian Science contains much that is "neither true nor wholesome." Mrs. Eddy's teachings are based wholly upon the Scriptural declarations that God is Spirit, and God is All-in-all, and every statement in the Christian Science text-book is in full accord with these premises. Jesus said, "By their fruits ye shall know them." During the past forty years many thousands of persons have been healed of so-called incurable diseases, including many cases of organic disease, diagnosed by competent physicians as hopeless. Many others have been freed from the bondage of slavery to the worst forms of vice and sin, including drug and liquor habits of many years' standing. Homes have been happier, and men and women have been benefited physically and spiritually through the ministrations of this Science. These results are practical and concincing proof that Christian Science is one of the greatest blessings that have come to mankind since the days of our great Master.
