In June, 1910, the occasion presented itself for me to prove the truth of our Leader's words on page 402 of Science and Health, that "Christian Science always is the most skilful surgeon." While driving home from church, a bolt connected with the shaft became loose, and the horses were startled so that the wagon was thrown with full force against a tree, and all the inmates were more or less injured. I sustained an injury over the right eye, so that the bone became visible, and my arm was badly hurt. Christian Science was resorted to at once, and in three weeks' time my arm had improved sufficiently for me to be able to do light housework and to attend church on the third Sunday. My daughter had arranged a bandage over my eye and put my arm in a sling. The bandage was removed on the following day, and the sling in three weeks' time. This was the more remarkable because I am in my sixtyeighth year. I have been completely restored, and that without any medical aid whatsoever. For this healing I am very grateful to God, and also to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.—Sophie Busch, Avoca, Neb.
