COMFORT

O FLEDGLING, on a cold world thrust,
Fly thou to God, since fly thou must!
For He shall cover thee with His wings,
And 'neath His feathers thou shalt trust.

O orphaned one, thy God is just!
Shed thou glad tears, if weep thou must!
His angels over thee have charge,
And 'neath His feathers thou shalt trust.

O widowed one, rise from the dust!
Love is thy mate, rejoice thou must!
For Truth shall be thy sure defense,
And 'neath His feathers thou shalt trust.
