I feel that the time has come for me to add my testimony, with the hope that it may help some other sufferer. I was taken ill, and my mother, who resides with me, feared the worst. as so many of our people had passed on with lung trouble; in fact, this thought had been held over me since childhood. We lived a long distance from a Christian Science practitioner, so I felt some fear on that account. I could not lie on either side, could not speak aloud, was unable to take any solid food, and to the material thought of those about me I was in a serious condition. I had, however, some of the household read to me from Science and Health, until my fear began to disappear. Then I managed to write to a practitioner, and after the letter reached her I began to feel easier. I soon got up and dressed myself and went to the table and had dinner with the family, eating the same as they did. That was over three years ago, and I have been well and happy ever since. I thank God daily for the many blessings that have come to me and mine through our dear Leader, and for the kindness which has always been shown to me.
