Mrs. Eddy, although taking issue with popular belief on the subject of medicine, was not an enemy to any form of human progress, and in emphasizing the superiority of the spiritual over the material she has contributed greatly to the world's progress and has lifted the thought of the age to higher aims and achievements. It is impossible at this time to estimate the good which Mrs. Eddy has accomplished, but the value of her teachings is attested in the vast army of people who have been healed of sickness, redeemed from sin, and restored to normal, useful lives.
