Christian Science does not depend upon the human mind...

Jersey City (N.J.) Journal

Christian Science does not depend upon the human mind or will-power to effect the cure of sin or disease. It depends upon the divine Mind alone to effect its cures. Jesus said, "The Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works." He further said to his followers, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall do; because I go unto my Father." One of the conditions necessary to a full understanding of this Science is that Christians should reflect the same Mind "which was also in Christ Jesus." It must be clear to all that the great difference between the so-called finite mind and the Mind "which was also in Christ Jesus" is this: To God all things are possible; to the finite mind all things are not possible. It is possible for God to do the greatest things as quickly and readily as it is possible for Him to do the easiest thing, from our finite standpoint. Herein lies the healing power of Christian Science, in that we understand that all things are possible with God.
