It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I give the following testimony for the help I have received through Christian Science. About two years ago I received an injury from a fall. I was in the employ of a telephone company, and I fell from a cable at a height of twenty-five feet. I was picked up unconscious and taken to a hospital. A physician's diagnosis was that I had received internal injuries, and I remained under medical treatment six months, being unable to walk without pain.

During this time my attention was called to Christian Science, and as I was not improving under medical treatment, I began to read Science and Health, which a friend had loaned me. As I read I began to feel that there was help for me, and decided to put my case in the hands of a practitioner, which I did soon after. From the first treatment I began to improve, and the day after I commenced to take treatment I went to work again, although I could not walk without the use of a cane. In ten days, however, I was walking with ease, and have not lost a day from work since. A friend of mine who had a similar experience has been in the hospital for the past eight months, and has not yet recovered. The healing efficacy of Christian Science has certainly been proven, in my case, to be superior to any material means, for it healed me quickly and wholly after medical treatment had failed and the doctors had made a law that I would always be a cripple.

I am truly grateful for the physical freedom, but more so for the spiritual healing, and the little knowledge of the truth which I have gained through my study of Science and Health, which frees us not only from disease but from the beliefs which cause it.
