Many years before I would even test the benefits of Christian Science, I was turned from it by misrepresentation of its teachings, made not by malice but by a misunderstanding of the truth; but God was watching over me and preparing the soil of my thought, that the seed might again be sown and bring forth fruit for the harvest. The day I accepted this healing truth it was but kindly spoken of, and although the dear friend knew I had been suffering for some time, she said nothing of its healing power. When alone with my pain the thought came that if there was anything in Christian Science, I was going to know it, and from that moment I began to be healed, and, along with my household and other friends, am growing stronger spiritually, mentally, and physically.

I would like to tell of the healing of my son. Three of our best doctors had diagnosed his case as heart weakness, forbidding him to indulge in exercise of any kind. Shortly after taking one week's treatment he was playing football, getting up at half past three every morning and running the folder of a newspaper, going to school, studying hard, and enjoying himself at anything he wished, and he graduated the same year. A few months later one of his physicians made an examination and passed him for insurance, finding the heart normal.

Of course we have not grown without study and work for an understanding of spiritual law, and we are very grateful for Christian Science and for our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us the way.
