It is with a heart filled with gratitude that I wish to tell of what Christian Science has done for me. For thirty years I suffered with rheumatism and severe headaches, as well as a stomach disorder to which extreme nervousness was added, besides which I had two ruptures. My life had become a burden to me and I longed for death, which I believed would deliver me from my ills. When the suffering had become almost unbearable, I learned that this was God's opportunity, for I was led to Christian Science, of which I had never heard before, and here I found help. I applied to a practitioner, who kindly took up treatment, and I immediately experienced relief. After a while I was able to lay aside the double truss which I had worn for thirteen years, and I did so without ill effects.

I was gradually healed of all my diseases; my trust in God was renewed thereby, and I have come to see that God makes all things work together for good. I am now able to do better work than ten years ago, and besides I am a calm and contented woman. I do not seem to be able to express in words my gratitude as I would like to do, but I am thankful to God with all my heart for these blessings, and also to our faithful Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us the way to Truth.—Anna Weidl, Hannover, Germany.
