I am very glad to testify to what Christian Science has done for me. About four years ago I became interested in it through a friend. At that time I was suffering with my feet and asked her for treatment, as a friend of mine had been helped so quickly in a similar case. I had suffered a great deal with my feet for a number of years, the result of their having been frozen when I was a child. I also had a corn on each little toe which a chiropodist had pronounced incurable. After a few days' treatment in Christian Science I was very much better and my feet felt comfortable, for which I am very thankful. This experience of the power of divine healing, the dawning of the spiritual sense, was the turning-point of my life. I gladly bought a copy of Science and Health and other literature by Mrs. Eddy, which have become very dear to me and in our home.

A little girl who was living at our home for a while was taken very ill with acute lung trouble, and I called a practitioner to treat her. She was helped very quickly, and in about two weeks was completely restored to health, besides having a much better disposition. My son injured his ankle in a football game, and the doctor bandaged it and told him he would not be able to stand on the foot for six weeks. He came home at once and took Christian Science treatment, with the result that in three days he went back to school, and in three weeks played football again. He was also healed of catarrh while being treated for the injured foot. Many other ailments have been cured in our family,—cold, headaches, fevers, toothache, etc.

I am more grateful than I can express for this blessed truth, and for the understanding which proves that "Love is the liberator" (Science and Health, p. 225). Lately a friend of my son was brought to our home whom the doctors had ordered sent to the hospital. He was suffering from a serious condition of the throat and chest, and chest, and had slept but very little for five nights; but he read some in Science and Health that day, and said he thought he would like to have Christian Science treatment. A practitioner was called, and in three days he was healed. After the first treatment he had thirteen hours of restful sleep. He has bought and is studying a copy of Science and Health, and his face shows that he has also received the spiritual healing and upliftment. Words fail to express my love and thankfulness to God, and my gratitude to our beloved Leader for this most precious truth.
