It is now over two years since I became interested in Christian Science, and I wish to express my gratitude for the many demonstrations made for both myself and little son by a faithful worker. I had been advised by a friend, four years before, while ill, to try Christian Science, but, being a physician's daughter, I paid little attention to the advice. It was not until arrangements were being made for an operation, which I feared I could not survive, that I turned to Truth as a last resort, hoping to be spared this ordeal.

And I did not hope in vain, for in a few months even friends remarked on my improved health. A chronic bowel difficulty, spinal injury, acute lung trouble, and other ills have been overcome for me, while my little boy, then three years of age, was healed of stomach and intestinal disorders which had resulted from a serious illness two years before. He was healed in June, and was for the first summer of his life well, hearty, and playful. He was treated two years ago for small-pox, and healed in one week so perfectly that not a scar remains.

For this and for the many other ailments which have been so effectively met I am deeply grateful to God. I am studying the Lesson-Sermons, taking the Sentinel, and striving to have no other consciousness but good.
