I wish to acknowledge some of the blessings which I have received since coming to Christian Science. I did not come for the physical healing, although I needed it. I had long been seeking for a religion in harmony with the teaching of the New Testament; and when I first read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I knew it was the true religion. I also saw that I did not have to die to find God. This glorious revelation destroyed the awful sense of fear of death and future suffering which I had.

Christian Science has been our only physician, and in the past twelve years the children have been healed of croup, fever, and many other ailments. I have been healed of a throat affection from which I had suffered since I was about six years old, also of internal hemorrhages, toothache, etc. I was healed in one treatment of a rectal trouble from which I had suffered since childhood. I was also healed of poisoning in about three weeks, through the study of Science and Health. I had one treatment at first, the pain being so great that I could not help myself. The treatment relieved me so much that I was then able to read and study. A friend who saw my hand said that if Christian Science could heal that hand she would believe in it. I have seen the power of divine Science demonstrated almost instantly in the healing of burns and other injuries.

I wish to express my gratitude to God for all the faithful work done in our church, also to all those who are laboring for the advancement of the cause throughout the world. I am truly thankful for the Wednesday evening meetings; constantly do I say in my heart, Thank God for Christian Science and for our Leader.
