One evening in April, 1910, I was taken suddenly with severe pain in my heart, and other alarming symptoms. My husband and I began to declare the truth and strove to realize that God is Life, but a great sense of fear overshadowed us, as I seemed to be passing on. Help was then asked for in Christian Science, and a practitioner immediately took up the work for me, with the result that in less than half an hour all pain vanished and I fell into a peaceful sleep. I have had no return of this trouble, and words cannot express my deep gratitude to God for this provable truth which has been revealed to us in Christian Science.
