I wish to return thanks to God for what Christian Science has done for me. Three years ago last June I severely injured my ankle, and called on a practitioner to attend me. After this she noticed that I had my son, who was then fourteen years old, tied in bed with a broad, strong tape line to prevent him from getting out of bed while asleep and walking about the house, which he had been in the habit of doing ever since he was able to walk. As we had had the best doctors of the city to treat him for this trouble, we finally thought it best to tie him in bed. She told us that we should take a different method, now that we were coming into Christian Science, and advised us to untie the boy. She then treated him, and I am happy to say that while it is now past three years, he has never walked in his sleep but once since, and we have never tied him.
I, myself, had worn a truss for thirty-two years, but for the last three years I have not worn it. For these healings in Christian Science I am very thankful to God, also to Mrs. Eddy.—E. F. Maritz, St. Louis, Mo.
