First of all I wish to say that I am thankful to God, and to His servant, Mrs. Eddy, for the quick response to my call for healing. Five years ago a friend loaned me a copy of Science and Health, which I carefully and earnestly read, hoping to see the light and to know the truth which I have since found. For thirty-five years I had suffered from illness, a stomach trouble which grew worse from year to year, until I realized that I must help. During this time seven doctors had prescribed for and treated me, so I became greatly discouraged. The lady who loaned me Science and Health two months previous to a severe attack, asked me why I did not try Christian Science. I then said that I would and she hastened to the telephone and called a practitioner, who gave absent treatment at once. In thirty minutes I was sleeping peacefully, and when I awoke I felt better than I had done for years. With two treatments I was entirely healed. I can indeed say that I am thankful for this blessed truth.
