THE ARCHITECT

Exactly as a scale-rule measures length,
The stature of the Christlike man is found:
The perfect God's perfection, grace, and strength
Revealed, His wholeness, beautiful and sound.
There is no deviation from the true:
The pattern stands eternally the same:
Immortal Love forevermore shines through
His image, man, endowed with Love's bright name.
Dear God, help me create a concept fair
Within my thought, one line upon a line,
To see Thy loving likeness everywhere
And all Thy children holy and divine.
O master architect, unfold Thy plan:
All-perfect God and ever-perfect man.
