TAKE COURAGE!

If danger is threatening us and causing us to fear, we should take courage. There is a way of escape. There is an answer to our problem which God, divine Mind, has already established. Mind, the Principle of the universe, holds the solution to every difficulty. As we turn to this Principle to learn the spiritual facts of a situation, mistaken beliefs will be corrected. We shall find our answer, and the problem will be solved.

Anything we are afraid of is unreal. Whatever aspect of error may be causing us to fear can be proved untrue through the application of Christian Science. And we can confirm the changeless perfection and harmony of spiritual man as the actual status of being. Evil's seeming magnitude is not formidable; it is illusion. Its nothingness is clearly revealed in a perception of the all-might of infinite Spirit.

King David, who had long experienced the protecting force of an understanding of God, counseled his son Solomon regarding his building of the temple (I Chron. 28:20), "Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord."
