Witness

Now through my daily round I go
With joyous steps, most willingly.
The Father's hand is near, I know,
To guide me where 'tis right to be.

I look to Him each morn for grace,
I thank Him with a grateful heart,
And then the shining day I face,
So glad to do my little part;

So glad that through each singing hour
I, as God's witness, may declare,
That now His love and law and power
Are ever active everywhere.
