Knowing that it is never too late to express our gratitude for Christian Science, I am relating these facts. Some years ago my husband came into Christian Science after hearing a business man's experience of his healing from the drinking and smoking habits. These healings meant so much to this man and his family that my husband wanted to know more of Christian Science. It seemed hardly possible to him that a person could be healed simply by reading the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. The friend invited us to a Wednesday testimony meeting. In accepting I said to my husband, "Let us go and have it over."

I have found in the many subsequent years that it is never over, because Christian Science is an ever-present help. Instead of having it over I have found that my understanding unfolds continually. Shortly after joining the church we had the blessing of class instruction from one who had been very close to Mrs. Eddy. After that experience my husband became an earnest worker in the Cause of Christian Science.

I am grateful for the healing of grief at the time my husband passed on. I am more grateful for a deeper understanding of Christian Science which has come to me through that healing; for I have learned to look to God for my supply, guidance, happiness, and home. I have had many other healings, such as of coughs and colds. To me the small healings are important, for they are similar to the little drops of water which make the mighty ocean.
