The united congregation of the two Christian Science churches in Meridian, Mississippi, held its first service as one body on Sunday, June 5. After being in separate organizations for seven years, the members of First and Second Churches are rejoicing over their union under the title of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Meridian. The members of the consolidated church feel that as one branch of The Mother Church they can better and more practically promote the Cause of Christian Science in the local field, and will continue to hold services in the church edifice at Twenty-fourth Avenue and Ninth Street.
