For a number of years Christian Science has been the sole reliance of our family, and it is now my desire to express my gratitude for this great blessing.

When I was a young man I became quite ill and, after being examined, was pronounced tubercular. I left the position I held at the time and went out upon a ranch. After spending a few months there I was apparently healed and entered the army, since this was at the time of the World War.

A few years after I left the army the condition returned; but now, because I was the head of a family, and had just attained a satisfactory position in the business in which I was engaged, it was not so easy to take the extended rest that was being urged upon me by the family physician.
